Rune Fennecs

☆ What's a Rune Fennec?

Rune Fennec's is a custom species made by lilfenneco (also known as Rambo). They have the default anatomy build of a regular fennec fox, with a bit of twists, and is a open species.

☆ Anatomy

Rune Fennec's can easily be identified by their tusks, 4 pair of ears and tribal body modifications. Average Males typically are around 5'11 - 6'3 (1.80 - 1.90m) meanwhile females are around 4'3 - 4'6 (1.30 - 1.40m)
Feminine builds are slick and can very easily move fast through cramped spaces while the masculine builds are better for defence and other things requiring strength. All Rune Fennec's have beast like feet, no matter female or male build.Their markings and cable-like body modifications can be found anywhere on the body but ALWAYS exists around the tusks, the cables can be any color (most commonly same color as their blood which can be any color), same with their markings, they can be any form of markings and any color (no hate symbols, etc, etc tho).Example of Male Rune Fennec build below:

☆ Base Features

The cable body modifications NEEDS to be connected to the body one way or another but it doesn't matter if the cables have for example a braided design to them, feel free to use your own creativity with the cables!
The tusks can also be pointing any way, example they can be in the form of ram horns design, BUT they need to follow the pattern of long tusks = masculine build and short tusks = feminine build. The tusks can have cracks, damages to them, accessories hanging in them, etc, use your creativity! The tusks are connected to the top of the mouth, so they can keep their canine tooth on the bottoms.The Tongue can be split or one but the tongue tip(s) are always pointy.

All rune fennecs also NEED to have crystals on either their elbows, ankles or both locations. These are always the same color as your character's cables.
Rune fennecs can be amputees / disabled and are allowed to have prosthesis but they can NEVER be hybrids with any form of mechas or other species (cyborgs, synths, so on).They can have damages and so on from things in their lives but can't be born with it (beside's missing limbs).

Rune fennec's have double paw pads on their fingers and also bat like flaps in the armpits, the double pads works as easier extra grip on mountain ledges and trees and also strengthen the grip on hand held tools meanwhile the bat like flaps are just a species feature doing nothing specific for them.They can wear clothes & piercings.

☆ Tribe & Universe

As they are a tribal animal, they have ranks when they live on the island, the ranks follows as:

You are allowed to assign you're Rune Fennec any rank beside Grand Sharman (Grand sharmans are in WIP, they are supposed to be few, but i also feel its wrong of me to require people to spend money to get it, so im working on a free alternative for people to apply their rune fennec to be a Grand sharman).Meaning with Exile "rank" is that your rune fennec will not be in the same 'universe' (or non-canon) as their home island is in, in other words, if you choose to make an exiled rune fennec, it will be living in maybe your own universe or in any modern universe.

☆ Background

Rune Fennec's were first discovered on the island of Nortawa Cay, a land with a lot of mountains, sandy fields and rain forest in some parts. They were found to be very tribal creatures and held hard for their culture, rituals of healing and enthusiast of crystals and glowing objects. They were the only form of high intelligent species on the island until the "Gyor Era", a era of evil monarchy, led by REDACTED, who was mistakenly made a Grand Sharman at this time. A lot of Rune fennec's fled the island or sold off & stolen from the island (mostly pups & feminine built Rune Fennec's), which yet to today affect the population of the species. For those who managed to flee, fled to many parts of the world, one of the most common place they went to other desert lands and a lot were mixed with regular fennecs. Only a few non-island birthed Rune Fennec's are out there and considered non-pureblood Rune Fennec's as most have been bred out to regular fennec's with time.

Nortawa Cay is back to its normal, peacefully land nowadays and coexist with several new species that have come to the island to befriend these creatures and help them, but also those creatures once there to harm the land, still there, hiding in the dark.Other species known on the island:
